JKEM pays rich tributes to recently martyred youth in IIOJK

Srinagar, October 22, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement (JKEM) has paid rich tributes to the Kashmiri youth recently martyred by Indian troops in the territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the JKEM spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that Indian oppression and killing of innocent Kashmiris continued in IIOJK and Indian troops had been destroying the Kashmiris’ property and desecrating the bodies of martyrs.

He said that India was working on its plan to change the Muslim majority status of the territory into a minority and the unabated killing of Kashmiri youth was part of that plan. He added that India would never succeed in its nefarious designs and the freedom movement would be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs.

The spokesman asked India to give up its oppressive policy on Kashmir and resolve the lingering dispute by giving the Kashmiris their birth right to self-determination so that permanent peace could be established in the region. He also urged the United Nations to take notice of India’s atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi Jammu and Kashmir, Abdul Samad Inqilabi in a statement in Srinagar also paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Shopian, Kulgam, Srinagar and other areas of Kashmir and reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the resistance movement till taking complete success. He urged the UN Security Council and the UN Human Rights Council to send a team to take stock of the Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory.
