JKLF condemns Indian oppression in IOK

Srinagar, March 01, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has condemned the ongoing Indian oppression against the unarmed political and religious leaders and parties. The JKLF in a statement issued in Srinagar denounced the illegal detention of party Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, who has been in police custody since February 22, 2019, and other leaders including Showkat Ahmed Bakhshi, Bashir Ahmed Rathar, Gulzar Ahmed, Mushtaq Ahmed Korag and Nadeem Ahmed.

It said the arbitrary oppressive acts unleashed in Kashmir were undemocratic and the worst kind of human rights violation that need condemnation from all civilized people. It is worth mentioning here that Indian police recently arrested another JKLF activist, Nadeem Ahmed from Pampore and lodged him in police station.
