JKPL expresses concern over grim situation in IIOJK

Srinagar, October 02, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) has expressed serious concern over the grim situation in the territory. The JKPL spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said harsh laws are being introduced by Narendra Modi-led fascist government in IIOJK to further curb people’s freedoms and intimidate them into silence through fear of retribution.

He said no problem or issue can be solved by force and repression. He said the unresolved Kashmir dispute is only creating more complications in the region and the fast-changing geopolitical reality of the region also points to the need for its urgent resolution.

The JKPL spokesman further said the political leadership and hundreds of political prisoners and youth are languishing in jails or under house detention and the health condition of many of the detainees is a matter of constant worry.
