JKSM continues mass contact programme in IOK

Srinagar, July 30, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Zafar Akbar Butt continued mass contact programme and addressed corner meetings in different parts of Srinagar. Zafar Akbar Butt expressing concern over the statements of the BJP leaders on Article 35-A said that the people of Kashmir would resist tooth and nail any kind of anti-Kashmir conspiracy or move.

He said, “People of Kashmir are seriously watching the upcoming hearing on Article 35-A and developments and are ready to resist, register their strong protest against any conspiracy which will lead to the removal or abrogation of Article 35-A.

Zafar Akber Butt also visited the residence of Hurriyat leader, Nayeem Khan and inquired about the well-being and health of his ailing mother. JKSM leaders including Molvi Rafiq and Molvi Mushtaq addressed condolence meetings in Shopian and Narbal, Budgam, respectively.

Meanwhile, Hurriyat leader Syed Muhammad Shafi addressing a meeting in Srinagar, today, condemned the continued illegal detention of senior APHC leader Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori at Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu and demanded his immediate release.
