Karachi, January 07, 2019 (PPI-OT): Ms. Arjumand Aziz, Honourable Chairperson / Judge, Appellate Tribunal Local Councils Sindh is scheduled to hear appeals pertaining to Municipal Corporations, Municipal Committees, Town Committees, District Councils and Union Councils etc. (Local Governments) of the Division Hyderabad is fixed on 10th January, 2019 at 9:00 A.M. She shall hold the Camp of the Hon’ble Tribunal at District and Sessions Court Hyderabad.
Appellate Tribunal Local Councils Sindh is a (Judicial Forum) empowered to hear the appeals relating to the Local Government / Municipal Jurisdiction under the provision of the Section-143 of the Sindh Local Government Act, 2013 (Provincial /Municipal Law) read with the Rule-4 of the Sindh Councils (Appeal) Rules, 1982. This Tribunal is also covered / protected under Article 212(1)(b) of the constitution of Pakistan 1973.
