HARNAI: District spokesperson for Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F, Harnai, Mufti Abdul Samad Sayed has called on authorities to conduct investigation into the funds released by Communication and Works Department, Government of Balochistan for construction of Par Chasma road of District Harnai.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said that government of Balochistan released an amount of Rs18 million for the construction of said road, but due to substandard materials used for constructing the mentioned road, the said road is now in a very dilapidated condition. He said that the road is being used by residents of Killi Arbuz, Killi Zawi and Gochina area and as such residents are confronting severe hardships while using the said road for transportation.
He called on Chief Minister, Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, Chief Secretary, Balochistan, Mather Niaz Rana, Secretary, Communication and Works Department, Zahid Saleem and other authorities to get disciplinary proceedings initiated against Najeeb Sasoli, Sub Engineer, Roads, Harnai and get contractor of the said road black listed. He further demanded of the authorities to earmark funds for construction of Pari Casma Road of District Harnai afresh.
