LARKANA: Maulana Nasir Khalid Mahmood Soomro, President, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Larkana district, in a statement here on Wednesday that even after the elections of the local bodies, Sindh government’s revenge actions are continuing in most of the cities of the province, including Larkana city.

He said that a peaceful protest was recorded at Gajinpur Chowk in the city against the robbery of a motorcycle a few days ago but a false case had been filed at the instigation of local PPP leaders against Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam District Larkana Press Spokesman Maulana Hameedullah Syal, Asif Magsi and other activists at Hydari police station, which proves that the police is playing the role of PPP dealers.

He said such acts were strongly condemned. He said that the workers of JUIF were not afraid of such actions, adding Bilawal Zardari, you compete in the political field, you cannot suppress the voice of the right through the police, he added. He said never try to under-estimate their innocence as their weakness as they were not Afghanis here to sell blankets in Larkana city. He said that the Sindh government, a victim of political chaos, wanted to silence them through its machinery but in the political field they had the right to keep our difference of opinion which nobody can snatch.
