Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Nazriyati (JUI-N) today reiterated its call for a united effort to liberate Palestine and condemned what it termed as decades-long atrocities committed by Israel.
In a joint statement issued by the party’s central leadership, including Acting Ameer Moulana Abdul Qadir Luni and Patron-in-Chief Moulana Mian Muhammad Ajmal Qadri, JUI-N leaders expressed deep concern over the situation in Palestine, particularly in Gaza and the West Bank. The statement alleged that Israel had been committing genocide against defenceless Palestinians for seven decades, while the international community and human rights organizations remain silent.
Referring to recent developments in Syria, the party leaders described them as a source of hope for the Muslim world. ‘The victories in Syria should serve as inspiration for the Ummah to unite for the liberation of Palestine,’ the statement read.
JUI-N emphasized that the issue of Al-Aqsa Mosque, referred to as ‘Qibla-e-Awal,’ is not limited to Palestinians but concerns the entire Muslim world. The leaders announced their intention to mobilize thousands of their supporters for the cause, declaring their readiness to proceed to Palestine as soon as a route becomes accessible.
The statement also accused Israel of conspiring to impose a third world war by establishing what they described as an illegitimate Zionist state on Palestinian land.
While reiterating their commitment to the Palestinian cause, the leaders stressed the need for collective action, calling on Muslim nations to rise in solidarity against oppression. No immediate response was available from international organizations or the Israeli authorities regarding the allegations raised by JUI-N.
