QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has taken notice of the news published in the media regarding the spread of XDR, a new kind of typhoid, in the province and sought report from Provincial Health Department.
A Chief Minister office statement issued on Monday said that Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan directed Provincial Health Department for taking concrete steps to combat the spread of typhoid and also directed health authorities to launch awareness campaign so as to be protected from XDR typhoid.
