Karachi Administrator appreciates KMDC young aspiring doctors

KARACHI: Administrator Karachi Dr Syed Saifur Rahman said on Saturday that it is an honor for the students and their parents that today the students are starting their educational life to become future doctors.

“College professors and teachers should give their best to the students because the field of medicine is very important. Doctors play a central role in saving the patients’ health and lives.” Dr Rehman stated while addressing a ceremony organized by Karachi Medical and Dental College on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year.

In this ceremony, the students wore a white coat and they were sworn to be loyal to their profession. Rahman stated, “The students who have chosen the medical field are very hardworking and study diligently to become competent doctors and serve the nation.

He further stated, “257 students are starting their studies for MBBS and 100 others for BDS. Their parents also deserve to be congratulated. You are one of the lucky ones, who will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge in this excellent institution.”

The administrator Karachi said that Karachi Medical and Dental College is an important institution under the administration of Baldia Uzma Karachi, which was established in 1991. The journey of development of the college has not stopped yet and steps are being taken to improve and give this college the status of a university. The administrator Karachi said that the convocation of the college will be held every year and the passing students will be awarded the certificates in the same year.

Former vice chancellor Dow University Masood Hameed and member governing body Dr. Farhan said, “The youth are the future of the country and the nation, your main duty is to focus on education. The people associated with this profession have a great responsibility.”
