The “Gul Zameen Football Cup,” Pakistan’s largest and most anticipated football tournament, is currently underway, organized by Pagham-e-Pakistan and the Muslim Youth League. Over an exciting five days, six matches have been held across three venues: Kakri Ground Liaquatabad, Haidri Sports Ground, and Mohammadi Sports Ground Malir.

According to a statement on Saturday, during these thrilling encounters, teams demonstrated remarkable skill, culminating in a total of 21 goals scored. Notably, Baloch Mujahid emerged as a standout team, netting an impressive eight goals, showcasing their dominance in this tournament.

At Kakri Ground, the first match saw Haidri Baloch edge past Sindh Baloch with a 2-1 victory. In another closely contested game, Baloch Eleven narrowly defeated Wahab Eleven 1-0.

At Mohammadi Sports Ground Malir, Jam Eleven delivered a stunning performance against Lal Eleven, winning decisively with a score of 4-1.

In a tight match, Dilbod Muhammadan triumphed over Sahibdad Star with a narrow 1-0 win.

Returning to the Haidri Sports Ground, Bismillah Sports defeated Jalal Murad 3-1 in an exciting clash. Baloch Mujahid’s impressive display continued as they faced Allah Dad Muhammadan, scoring a remarkable 8-0 victory, emphasizing their fierce competitiveness throughout the tournament.

As part of the tournament organized under the aegis of the Muslim Youth League and Pagham-e-Pakistan , this monumental event features participation from 1,000 players and 96 teams. The “Gul Zameen Football Cup” is set to run for a total of 15 days, concluding with a final that promises to be an electrifying encounter. Winners will not only take home beautiful trophies but also cash prizes amounting to millions of rupees.
