Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, hosted a meeting with Mufti Abdul Raheem, Chancellor of Al-Ghazali University and Head of Jamia – tur – Rasheed, at the Governor House. The discussion focused on key issues, including the registration of madaris, the contributions of religious scholars, and other matters of mutual importance.

Governor Kamran Khan Tessori emphasized that consultations with all stakeholders are ongoing to formulate a consensus-based strategy for madaris registration. He assured that the government would take action only after a comprehensive agreement among all parties. He further acknowledged the pivotal role of religious scholars in resolving complex societal issues through their valuable insights and guidance.

Mufti Abdul Raheem highlighted the sensitivity of madaris registration and stressed the importance of involving all stakeholders to ensure a balanced and effective approach.
