Kashmir dispute poses threat to world peace: Waza

Srinagar, July 20, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza has said that Kashmir dispute poses a threat to the world peace and the international community must take measures for its settlement.

Mukhtar Ahmed Waza addressing a gathering in Devalgam area of at Kokernag said that the prevailing confrontation and tense situations between India and Pakistan was due to the Kashmir dispute. He said that the dispute is proving to be a big obstacle for peace, prosperity and development in the region. He said, “War is no option, instead it cause devastation and destruction. Both India and Pakistan are nuclear countries and any flare-up can prove extremely detrimental for the region.”
