Srinagar, January 20, 2018 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL) has said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs in the ongoing freedom movement will not go waste and their mission will be accomplished at all costs. The JKPFL in a meeting in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to Shaheed Fayaz Ahmad Shah of Baghat, Srinagar, who was martyred by Indian troops on January 20, 1993, in Srinagar.
The JKPFL Chairman, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, in his telephonic address from Islamabad paid homage to Shaheed Fayaz Ahmad Shah. He said that Fayaz Ahmed Shah was a dedicated freedom fighter of Kashmir. The great sacrifices of the sons of Kashmir will never go in vain and the occupied territory will be freed from the Indian clutches, he remarked.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani urged India to give up its intransigence and come forward for peaceful settlement of the Kashmir dispute. He said that India wanted to suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing liberation movement through military might but would never succeed in its nefarious designs. He said that the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle till it reached its logical conclusion.
