The Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) commemorated the second death anniversary of its late Patron-in-Chief and founder, SM Muneer Bhaijan, with a Quran recitation and prayer ceremony held at its premises.
During the event, KATI President Junaid Naqi and Deputy Patron-in-Chief Zubair Chhaya praised SM Muneer’s lasting legacy and the vision he established, which continues to guide the organization.
President Naqi described SM Muneer as a key figure in Pakistan’s economic progress, stating that KATI’s successes were built on his relentless efforts and dedication. “Leaders like SM Muneer Bhaijan are born once in centuries,” Naqi remarked, highlighting his tireless work for the business community and his commitment to Pakistan’s economic independence and prosperity. He emphasized that SM Muneer’s life mission was centered around serving humanity, empowering the underprivileged, and uniting the business sector for national development.
Deputy Patron-in-Chief Zubair Chhaya, who had a close association with SM Muneer since 1988, described him as an unparalleled leader, recalling his profound love for both the business community and KATI.
He said: ‘His connection with us was so strong that he was with us just hours before his passing,’ Chhaya recalled, adding that the void left by his demise would never be filled, but the mission he set forth would be carried forward.”
