Srinagar, July 10, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) staged a protest demonstration at Lal Chowk in Srinagar, today, against the killings and injuries to civilians in Indian forces’ action in south Kashmir’s Shopian and Kulgam districts.
The protest was led by co-chairman of KEA Farooq Ahmed Dar. Dozens of KEA members raised pro-freedom and anti-India slogans and demanded an end to the genocide of Kashmiri people during a protest.
Addressing on the occasion, Farooq Ahmed Dar appealed to the United Nations and Amnesty International to play their role in ending the genocide of Kashmiris at the hands of Indian forces and play their role in the settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
