Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy (KPJA) held a one-day training event for stamp vendors from Districts Charsadda, Peshawar, and Mardan as part of its Justice Sector Reforms initiative aimed at enhancing the capacity of paralegals.

According to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy – Peshawar announcement issued on 07 September 2024, the training focused on several key areas including reaffirming public faith in the justice system, enhancing ethical practices, and updating the participants’ legal knowledge. Dr. Qazi Attaullah, Senior Director (R and P), delivered a comprehensive lecture on professional ethics and conduct. Mr. Wajid Ali, Director of Instructions, discussed substantive and procedural laws, addressing specific irregularities, challenges, and the application of relevant laws. The final session, led by Ms. Faryal Zia Mufti, Director of Instructions, centered on the maintenance of records.

The training was part of a broader effort to refine the professional skills of stamp vendors to ensure more effective and efficient service delivery within the justice sector. Mr. Jehanzeb Shinwari, Director General of KPJA, presided over both the inaugural and concluding ceremonies, which were attended by all directors and faculty members of the academy. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates among the participants, symbolizing their enhanced capabilities to contribute to the justice sector.
