‘King Salman leader of Muslim Ummah’: Pakistan Ulema Council Chairman to UNA

Pakistan Ulema Council Chairman Hafiz Mohammed Ashrafi stated that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman is the leader of the Muslim Ummah and that he has great visions to achieve the interests of Islam and Muslims everywhere.

In a statement to the Union of OIC News Agencies, Ashrafi said that the Kingdom’s government, led by King Salman and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, spared no efforts in ensuring pilgrims security, health, care, and service.

On the Pakistan Ulema Council, Ashrafi said that the council has exerted great efforts in fighting terrorism and extremism and defending Islamic issues, especially defending the first Muslim cause of Palestine, as well as supporting the land of the Two Holy Mosques against any aggression from terrorist groups.

He pointed out that the Council is training young people in Pakistan to confront the terrorist ideology and refute the rhetoric of extremism.

He stressed that Islam is the religion of peace, mercy, tolerance, and kinship, and that it condemns terrorism and extremism.

Those who use the name of Islam for terrorism and extremism, not only do they have nothing to do with Islam, but they have committed an unparalleled crime against it.
