The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, met with the Chairman of the Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust (KORT), Chaudhry Muhammad Akhtar, where a detailed briefing on the projects of the Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust was provided. During the meeting, Chaudhry Muhammad Akhtar commended the President for his international advocacy on the Kashmir issue and his role in the development of the state.
The meeting took place at the President’s House, Kashmir House, Islamabad, and was attended by other dignitaries. Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Akhtar informed the President about the ongoing and future projects of the trust and invited him to visit these projects, which the President accepted.
President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry assured full cooperation for the Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust and described it as the true face of Kashmir. Other matters of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
The President expressed his condolences on the death of Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Akhtar’s wife and prayed that Allah may grant her a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous (Paradise).
