Islamabad:Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has said the government is striving for promoting tourism as an industry in the province.
In his message on World Tourism Day today (Sunday), he said the province holds massively extraordinary potential for adventure, natural, religious and historic tourism. Mahmood Khan said tourism directly impacts social, cultural and economic conditions of a country.
He said the government is making all out efforts to provide best facilities to national and international tourists. The Chief Minister said every district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa holds a unique opportunity for the tourism sector. He added that the government is utilizing all possible resources to flourish this industry.
