KTMF asks India to shun repression, opt for dialogue

Srinagar, March 11, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation while extending full support to the resistance leadership has urged India to start a meaningful dialogue with Hurriyat leaders to find out a lasting solution to the Kashmir dispute instead of resorting to repressive measures. KTMF Spokesman Sajjad Gul in a media interview in Srinagar said the trader fraternity of Kashmir supports the resistance leadership.

He said the repression and the use of force against the resistance leaders would lead nowhere; instead the solution to the all problems lies in dialogue. The spokesman strongly condemned the ban on Jamaat-e-Islami, slapping of draconian Public Safety Act on Muhammad Yasin Malik and NIA summons to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Syed Ali Gilani’s son, Syed Naseem Gilani. The KTMF Spokesman said, “Mirwaiz is not only a Hurriyat forum chairman but also a religious head and people will not tolerate any assault on him”.
