In a significant diplomatic engagement, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan, Avazbek Atakhanov, met with Federal Minister for Power, Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations with a particular emphasis on energy cooperation.
According to Press Information Department report today, the meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to broaden collaboration, especially in the power sector. Minister Leghari highlighted the robust ties between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan, expressing a keen interest in expanding cooperation in various fields. He pointed out the strong educational bonds, noting the presence of many Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan’s academic institutions.
Minister Leghari detailed the ongoing reforms in Pakistan’s power sector aimed at boosting efficiency and sustainability, inviting Kyrgyz investors to explore opportunities in the country’s energy landscape. He emphasized the potential for joint ventures in renewable energy.
