LARKANA:Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 15 bags full of banned gutka from New Bus Stand in Larkana.
A police team headed by Waleed Police Station SHO Abdul Ghafoor Chutto in a raid arrested two accused Samad Shaikh and Zamir Chandio and recovered 15 bags of banned gutka from their possession.
Chutto told newsmen that they acted on a tip-off and conducted a surprise raid at a place located in the New Bus Stand area and recovered 15 bags of Gurka and arrested two accused.
He said gutka had become a cancer for our young generation, hence, its traders and retailers would not be spared at all. He said FIR No. 64/2021 had been registered against the accused under Sections 269, 270, 337j PPC.
