LARKANA: Residents of different areas of Larkana staged a sit-in at Miro Khan Chowk against the non-discharge of rainwater from their localities here on Saturday.

On this occasion, the residents of Muazzim Colony, Faisal Colony and other areas of the city, Abdul Khalid Abbasi, Owais Abbasi, Abdul Aziz Abbasi, Deen Mohammad Rahoojo and others, complained to the media that many days have passed since the rains in Larkana, but unfortunately till this time rainwater has not been drained out from our localities as yet, while many of our houses have collapsed due to water stagnation and many other places have become very weak and we are facing severe problems.

They said that we have repeatedly complained to the district officials but still no action has been taken, which is a complete injustice. They demanded from the Sindh government and the district administration to take notice of the matter and do justice by draining the stagnant rainwater out from the said areas.
