The load shedding crisis in Mirpur Khas has put citizens in a difficult situation. HESCO is implementing a schedule of twohour load shedding every two hours on multiple feeders in the city, causing significant distress to both business and residential consumers.

According to details, HESCO officials had made big claims about declaring all feeders in the city as load sheddingfree zones. However, the load shedding continues on feeders such as Satellite Town, City Linking, Bismillah, Mehmoodabad Linking, and Pirabad, among others.

The severe load shedding has not only affected residential consumers but has also severely impacted the business community. Citizens have reported that due to load shedding, elderly individuals and women in homes are facing considerable difficulties.

Business activities have also been badly affected, with operations coming to a complete halt. Citizens state that alongside rising inflation, load shedding has paralyzed their businesses, weakening them economically.

The citizens have appealed to the higher authorities to immediately reduce the duration of load shedding, so their difficulties can be alleviated.
