Load shedding hits over 100 villages in Gambat

GAMBAT: Over 100 villages of Gambat Taluka are facing 18 hours long electricity load shedding within 24 hours on daily basis, affecting socio-economic life of villagers. The power load shedding up to 18 hours is being carried out in all villages with dare as rulers seem to have adopted criminal silence over the issue. The business, education and social activities are being badly affected in villages since last 16 years. “It seemed that there is no merciful leader, who can resolve this issue. Neither Nawaz Sharif and PPP governments nor PTI regime could resolve this issue till today, said Nazir Ahmed while talking to PPI.

He said that residents of different villages – Dilawar Khuhro, Razidero, Guhram Khuhro, and Sitabo – were worst affected as their agriculture depends on tube-wells which needed electricity but due to power outage up to 18 hours, their crops had been affected. He demanded of the authorities to end load shedding so that people could take a sigh of relief at least in hot weather.
