ISLAMABAD:Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs Usman Dar has said loans of 1.5 billion rupees have so far been disbursed amongst the women under Kamyab Jawan Program (KJP). Addressing a ceremony in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, he said Kamyab Jawan Program has helped about two thousand women to become entrepreneurs. He said loans are being provided to the youth on subsidized rates so that they could establish their businesses and contribute to the development of the country.

Out of one hundred billion rupees allocated for Kamyab Jawan Program, twenty five billion rupees will be given to the women. Usman Dar said the scope of Kamyab Jawan Program will be further expanded. Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul, in her remarks on the occasion, said the PTI government has taken practical steps for the economic empowerment of women.
