MAJU ready to face possible second corona wave

KARACHI:President, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi (MAJU) Prof Dr Zubair Shaikh has said that if the government decides to close down the educational institutions as a result of second wave of coronavirus, they were ready to face that situation and online education would be continued more effectively so that the students could be saved from any kind of loss.

In a statement on Tuesday, he said that after the closure of educational institutions due to the outbreak of coronavirus in the month of March this year, a series of online classes were continued in MAJU and during this period, online examinations and online admissions were also conducted successfully.

“Since the opening of educational institutions from September 15, this year classes have been conducted in strict compliance with the SOPs issued by the HEC and so far, we have not faced any untoward situation,” he added.
