Malir police raids at illegal slaughter house, recovered 100kg unhealthy meat

KARACHI:Malir city police on Tuesday claimed to have conducted a crackdown against illegal slaughter houses and arrested two suspects.

 

According to the police sources, a team of Malir city police conducted a raid on a tip-off at an illegal slaughter house in Aleemabad area of the city and arrested two suspects identified as Abdul Ghani and Imrani and recovered more than 100 kg unhealthy meat from slaughter house while Qamar Khalid alias Pappu, an accomplice of the arrested accused, escaped the scene.

 

The police also said that meat of the illegally slaughtered animal was taken into custody. “The arrested suspects said during interrogation that they used to supply meat of sick animals to the market,” the police claimed. A case has been registered against the arrested accused.
