SHIKARPUR: A youngster was shot dead over notorious rite of Karo-Kari in village Habib Jatoi within the jurisdiction of Rustam police station on Sunday.
According to reports reaching here, Arbelo Atrani Jatoi suspected that his wife Shamshad alias Arbeli had illicit relations with his cousin Ghulam Rasool Atrani Jatoi following which Arbelo shot dead his cousin Ghulam Rasool Atrani Jatoi with a double barrel gun in the name of Karo-Kari and escaped.
Rustam police rushed to the scene and shifted the body to Taluka Hospital Khanpur for medico-legal formalities.
