MIRPURKHAS:A man was burnt to death and his wife injured after their thatched house caught fire at village Vali Mohammad Rind near Mirpurkhas on Thursday.
The fire broke out when the man threw cigarette in the house at village Vali Mohammad Rind near Mirpurkhas after smoking it. The fire engulfed the house swiftly, killing the man, Chelo Bhel, and injuring his wife Taijan. Other house inmates remained safe.
The relatives rushed to the scene and shifted the body and injured to a local hospital. Police have started a probe into the incident. No case could be filed till filing this report. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the village.
