A man was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Qambrani Road within the jurisdiction of Sariab Police Station in Quetta on Sunday.

According to police sources, the incident occurred near Street No.1, Bank Colony, Qambrani Road, where unknown gunmen opened fire on the victim. The deceased was identified as Junaid Kurd, son of Bahadur Kurd.

The body was shifted to Sandeman Provincial Hospital Quetta for medico-legal formalities before being handed over to the family. The incident has left the victim’s household in mourning.

Sariab Police have launched an investigation into the case to trace and apprehend the culprits.
