KARACHI:A man was killed by robbers over resistance during a robbery in Gulshan-e-Hadeed area of the city in the wee hours of Tuesday.
According to rescue sources, two armed robbers tried to loot a 40-year-old man, Hidayatullah, in Gulshan-e-Hadeed area, but he offered resistance to the robbers on which they opened fire on him. As a result, he sustained severe bullet injuries and died on the spot.
The body was shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs. No case could be filed till filing this report. However, the police have started search for the killers.
