Kuala Lumpur, November 05, 2019 (PPI-OT): The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organisations joined other concerned parties to lodge a strong protest against India’s formal inclusion of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan as part of India.
The Council President, Mohammad Azmi Abdul Hamid in a statement in Kuala Lumpur called India’s move as provocative, which will escalate tension in the region. Azmi said that India was clearly violating the UN Security Council resolutions on Kashmir. He asked the UNSC to take an appropriate action against India over such violation.
