Markazi Anjuman Tajiran Wa Dukandaran Balochistan had been striving for addressing genuine problems of business community

QUETTA:Amruddin Agha, President, Markazi Anjuman Tajirna Wa Dukandaran Balochistan has said that Markazi Anjuman Tajiran Wa Dukandaran Balochistan had been striving for addressing the genuine problems of business community of the province for the last many years.

“Keeping in view the performance of Markazi Anjuman Tajiran Wa Dukandaran, several leaders of business community tendered resignation from the so-called association of business community and joined Markazi Anjuman Tajiran Wa Dukandaran Balochistan,” he said while addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Monday.

He called on authorities to compensate shopkeepers of Sariab Customs area of Quetta whose shops were burnt to ashes due to overturning of oil tanker. He added estimate of loses had already been submitted in the office of Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Major (Retd) Aurangzeb Badini, but the affected shopkeepers had not been compensated yet.

He said dualization of Quetta-Karachi highway was a long standing demand of the people of Balochistan, as hundreds of people had lost their lives in road accidents on Quetta-Karachi highway. He appealed to the higher authorities for the dualization of Quetta-Karachi highway.

On the occasion, Chairman, Markazi Anjuman Tajiran Wa Dukandaran Balochistan, Takari Hameed Bangulzai, Senior Vice President, Haji Amir Achakzai, Mir Bashir Ahmed Bangulzai, Malik Muhammad Hussain Shahwani, Saeed Ahmed Satakzai, Muhammad Ayub Pirkani, Faiz Jan, Haji Abdul Sattar Bangulzai, Abdul Razzaq Shahwani and others were also present.
