KARACHI:Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Shazia Atta Marri, on Tuesday strongly condemned the bomb blast incident that took place at Kharadar area of Karachi that resulted in killing of one woman and a dozen of peoples injured.

Ms Marri expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and injuries and termed it a cowardly and highly regrettable act of terrorists. She added that it was a foiled attempt of the terrorists to disrupt peace and tranquility in Karachi city but terrorists could never be succeed in their malicious intensions.

Ms Marri said that the entire nation and the law enforcement agencies of Pakistan were ready to bravely combat terrorist incidents. She also extended condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for early recovery of the injured persons. A blast ripped through Karachi’s crowded Bolton Market in Kharadar on Monday evening, leaving one woman dead and nearly a dozen people injured including three police officers.
