ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday promoted Maryam Nawaz as Senior Vice-President to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
This was announced by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb in a statement here on Tuesday. She said a notification signed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in this regard has been issued. She said this organizational decision of the party was announced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Maryam Nawaz has been authorized to re-organize the party at all functional tiers/levels as “Chief Organizer”. Maryam Nawaz was appointed one of the 16 vice-presidents of the party on May 3, 2019.
Maryam Nawaz has been highly active in running the party’s election campaigns and holding public gatherings in different cities of the country. She is in United Kingdom currently with her father PML-N supremo, Nawaz Sharif. PML-N leaders have congratulated her on her promotion and extended her best wishes.
