Karachi, July 19, 2018 (PPI-OT): Chief Secretary Sindh Maj. Rtd. Azam Suleman Khan has stressed the need for completion of work on Water Treatment Plant No.3, at Mauripur, sophisticatedly and sufficiently. He visited the Treatment Plant No.3 – a part of S-III Project of KW and SB, at Mauripur area, on Thursday, and inspected final processing, thereof.
It may be mentioned that TP No.3 will regularly be operative form Sunday the 22nd July 2018, since then the 77 (seventy-seven) Million Gallon water shall be cleaned from the pollution daily, which shall be put in the sea accordingly. Maj. Rtd. Azam noted that completion should meritoriously be finalized.
ACS / Coordinator for Water Commission Syed Asif Hyder Shah, Commissioner Karachi M. Saleh Farooqi, MD KW and SB Khalid Shaikh and other officers were also present. Chief Secretary also planted a tree within the premises of TP No.3 and prayed for prosperity and development of the country.
