MC leaders concerned over killing spree by troops in IOK

Srinagar, January 17, 2018 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference has expressed anguish and concern over the killings of innocent Kashmiris by Indian forces. The concern was raised during a party meeting at Rajbagh in Srinagar. Party President, Muhammad Sultan Magrey, presided over the meeting while all executive members and activists attended it and discussed the prevailing situation of occupied Kashmir.

Muhammad Sultan Magrey on the occasion said that Kashmiri youth were being implicated in false cases. He demanded immediate release of Kashmiri businessman, Bilal Kawa, who was arrested by Delhi police on January 10. He said, “Those Kashmiris pursuing education, treatment or trade in parts of India feel insecure as police and agencies haunt them for no reason.”

Muhammad Sultan Magrey said that the Indian atrocities could not demoralize the Kashmiri people. He condemned crackdowns and searches by Indian forces in different areas of occupied Kashmir. Party General Secretary, Merajuddin Soleh, also addressed the meeting.
