Islamabad, September 15, 2021 (PPI-OT):During the meeting of Task Force of Executive Committee of Pakistan Afghanistan Parliamentary Friendship group, the matters pertaining to issuance of sim card to Afghan Visa holders, the issue of Visa extension to Afghan citizens and making investment friendly policy for Afghanistan citizens were discussed.
The Task force members decided to constitute a committee undersecretary Board of investment and containing representative of FBR and SBP to make investment policies for Afghanistan investors. While responding to briefing by Secretary Commerce it was decided to facilitate Afghanistan brethren in this time of food shortage and lack of essential commodities of life.
The Task force also decided to prepare complete package to resolve the issues of demurrage charges on transit trade. Task Force meeting was attended by SAPM Mr. Arbab Shahzad, Pakistan Special Envoy for Afghanistan Mr. Sadiq Khan and Senior Officers of Ministry of Commerce, Interior, FBR and SBP.
