A mentally challenged individual was killed by unknown attackers in Sharifabad Khadkucha area of Mastung district on Friday.

According to rescue personnel, the attackers shot the man and fled the scene. The deceased was brought to Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Memorial Hospital for medico-legal procedures and identification.

This incident follows a similar occurrence in Kalat the previous day, where another mentally ill person was killed. Such targeted killings of mentally incapacitated individuals have been reported in various parts of the province.
