KARACHI: Provincial Minister for Industries and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said on Wednesday that Pakistan and Iran had deep historical, religious and cultural ties.
There is a need to further promote trade relations between the two countries, he said this today on the occasion of visiting Expo Center Karachi. It is to mention here that an exhibition has been organized in Expo Center Karachi on behalf of brotherly country Iran. On this occasion, Secretary Industry and Commerce Rashid Ahmed Solangi were also accompanied by the Provincial Minister. The Iranian Consul General welcomed the guests.
Dharejo visited various stalls and expressed deep interest in Iranian goods. He said that the two Islamic countries had deep historical, religious and cultural ties. There are also vast opportunities for trade between the two brotherly countries.
He said that Sindh welcomes Iranian investors. Iranian investors should set up industries in the Special Economic Zones of Sindh. Government of Sindh would provide full protection to their capital. Dharejo expressed the hope that such exhibitions would promote trade relations between the two countries and would attract the investors of the both sides.
