Minister sees opposition parties to end in fiasco

QUETTA:Minister for Public Health Engineering and WASA, Haji Noor Muhammad Khan Dumar, has said the incumbent provincial government had attached top most priority to the progress and prosperity of Balochistan.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said the incumbent federal government had practically been striving to redress the grievances of the people of Balochistan.

Absence of people from the public meeting of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in Dera Murad Jamali area of Naseerabad had proved that people of the province had rejected the narrative of PDM, said Dumar, adding that PDM was not a challenge for the government as people did not agree with the narrative of PDM.

Following anti-state agenda, the opposition parties would bear no fruit but would end in fiasco, said the minister. He added Prime Minister Imran Khan had earlier said that opposition parties would be united for their personal interests and now people could easily observe that corrupt elements had been gathered on the platform of PDM for their personal gains.

Dumar said that the opposition parties wanted to create anarchy in the country, adding that resignations and long march could not pressurize government. He said that the whole drama was being orchestrated to avail NRO.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan had time and again made it clear that he was ready to negotiate with opposition on all issues with the exception of corruption and NRO. He said people wanted development while PDM was running anti-development campaign.
