Islamabad, August 10, 2020 (PPI-OT): Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that the Main Line-1 is a revolutionary project and it would revamp the entire structure of the Pakistan Railways. Talking to PTV, he said the ML-1 will be a crossing-free track and it will significantly reduce the travel time from Karachi to Lahore and Lahore to Rawalpindi. He said the project will also reduce the railway accidents and generate 150,000 job opportunities for people.
