Srinagar, September 25, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has said that Narendra Modi-led Indian government is “disempowering” the people of territory.
Mehbooba Mufti in a tweet said suspecting the Kashmiris for having alleged links with militants is the new excuse used by the Indian government to dispossess and humiliate them. She was reacting to the recent termination of 6 government employees for their affiliation with the ongoing freedom movement and on the charges of alleged anti-India activities.
Mehbooba wrote on the Twitter that contrary to the Indian government’s tall claims of getting investment to create employment for the IIOJK people, they are deliberately laying off government employees despite knowing that people in the territory rely on government jobs for their livelihood. She added hounding Kashmiris endlessly deflates New Delhi’s fake narrative that all is well in IIOJK.
