Modi govt’s August 5 action in IIOJK slammed

Islamabad, August 03, 2020 (PPI-OT): Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Young Men’s League, Zahid Ashraf has slammed the Modi-led Indian fascist government for its action of August 5, last year, when it repealed Kashmir’s special status and divided it into two union territories. Zahid Ashraf in a statement issued in Islamabad categorically stated that identity and right to decide for themselves were an inalienable part of Kashmiris’ existence and they would never compromise on it.

He said that by observing 5th August as Youm-e-Istehsal, Kashmiris would once again confirm their total rejection of the Indian rule and reaffirm pledge to continue liberation movement till taking it to its logical conclusion. Zahid Ashraf urged the United Nations and the civilized world to take a notice of the Indian state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and put pressure on India to resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute according to the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
