KARACHI: Sahil Police in Karachi has deployed additional police personnel to control crime during Ramadan and weekends.

According to SHO Sahil Azam Rajpar, the range of crime control posts and patrols had been expanded as the elements disturbing peace of the area were being closely monitored.

He said that highly coordinated security arrangements had been made on the internal and external routes as well. Work is being done to prevent illegal activities, especially in the sea view and commercial areas, says Mr Rajpar. Rajpar further said that all efforts were underway to make the area safe and peaceful.
