QUETTA:Nazeer Baloch, Chairman Baloch Student Organization said in a statement on Monday that different student organizations had decided to launch the country-wide “Recover Dr Sunni Movement”, however, in view of the recovery of Dr Liaquat Sunni, the protest movement had now been cancelled.
Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club with Zubair Baloch, Chairman, Balochistan Student Organization (Pajjar), Zubair Shah Agha Chairman, Pushtoon Student Federation (Azad), Mujtaba Zahid, Secretary General, Hazara Student Federation, Dr. Saif Baloch, Chairman, Baloch Student Action Committee and others, Baloch said, “If government failed to apprehend perpetrators and award punishment to them, the movement would be re-scheduled”.
He said, “Kidnapping of on-duty-professor raised question on the performance of government. We belong to that unfortunate land where knowledge is put behind the bar.” He said if government failed to apprehend perpetrators involved in kidnapping Sunni and award exemplary punish to them, student organizations of the province would reschedule the cancelled protest movement.
