Mohammad Tahir Khokhar, a leader of MQM Azad Kashmir and former Minister of Tourism and Transport, stated today that the ominous nature of the Line of Control should come to an end.

He emphasized that this divisive wall has fragmented the Kashmiri people, with half of families on one side and the other half on the opposite side, falling victim to this cursed line.

He expressed hope that Kashmiris continue to struggle for the day when this line will be erased, allowing them to live freely and united.

Khokhar also condemned the treatment of Muslims in India, highlighting incidents where they are stoned for eating beef.

He pointed out that in both India and occupied Kashmir, Hindu extremists and the Indian government are destroying mosques, targeting Muslims for revenge, and imposing restrictions on their worship.

Mr Khokhar described India as wearing the guise of a so-called democracy, while Muslims and other religious groups face persecution at the hands of Indian Hindus and the government.

He warned that if the international community and the United Nations do not take notice of the Modi government’s brutality and tactics, global peace could be at risk.

Khokhar reaffirmed that the unity of Kashmir must not be compromised and that the entire nation stands united in this cause. He declared that the Kashmiri people will decisively defeat India with full force.
