Srinagar, March 12, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulema (MMU) has called for a shutdown on Saturday against the summoning of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq by India’s National Investigation Agency in New Delhi. Addressing a press conference at Mirwaiz Manzil in Srinagar, the umbrella body of ulema appealed to people to hold protests on Friday against the NIA notice to Mirwaiz and ban on socio-religious organisation, Jamaat-e-Islami. The press conference was addressed by the Grand Mufti, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam.
